Objective. To study the attitude of medical specialists to the assessment and practical implementation of WHO recommendations on effective perinatal care and to assess the clinical efficiency of modern perinatal care. Material and methods. 29 doctors were interviewed anonymously with specially developed questionnaire. Results. 72.4% of doctors had training on modern aspects of perinatology. The most important indicator of new approaches efficiency is the condition of the woman directly after the delivery. One of such indicators is the frequency of postnatal complications. Decreased rate of septic complications, endometritis and mastitis was observed. Conclusion. The positive effect of new technologies allows to reduce the time of hospitalization (4 days in  70% and 5—6 days in 20%).
