Abstract:

The paper describes a rare clinical case of long-term survival after surgical treatment of a patient with bilateral lung cancer and severe comorbidity (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, stage 3 respiratory failure, multiple artery aneurysms). The use of organ-sparing surgery (segmentectomy) made it possible to achieve long, relapse-free survival for more than 10 years with satisfactory quality of life being maintained.
