Abstract:

Among the conventional laboratory tests such as basic semen examination (spermogramm), reactive oxygen species (ROS) and DNA fragmentation index (DFI/ DNA fragmentation index) sperm sediment cytology (SSC) is an emerging ancillary technology for male infertility check-up. While a conventional general semen examination has a sufficient diagnostic value but at the same time SSC can help a doctor for confident judgment about the nature of process at the cellular level.
