THE EFFECTS OF PYRROLIDINE DITHIOCARBAMATE AND LINOLEIC ACID ON OOCYTE MEIOTIC MATURATION AND THE SURVIVAL OF CUMULUS CELLS IN MICE

T.V. Blashkiv, Е.A. Shepel, T.J. Voznesenskaja

The influence of specific NF-kB inhibitor pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC) on murine oocyte meiotic maturation and the survival of cumulus cells have been investigated. The effect of LA-induced activation of NF-kB, as well as the number of heterochromatin granules after oxidative stress were analyzed. PDTC has been shown to inhibit the oocyte meiotic maturation, decrease the number of viable cumulus cells and significantly increase the number of apoptotic cells, LA caused the dysfunction of cumulus cells.

Кey words: NF-kВ, oocytes, cumulus cells, apoptosis, necrosis (page 17—20)

MEDICAL AND DEMOGRAPHIC ASPECTS IN THE KALUGA REGION AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON REPRODUCTIVE LOSSES

B.G. Ginzburg

The ethnic origin of the Kaluga region has been investigated. The dynamics of average age of first birth and the parity was studied. The male and female age in couples with reproductive losses was analyzed and its possible effect is discussed.

Key words: demography, reproductive loss, age (page 21—27)

The EFFECT OF GABA-DERIVATIVES ON ENDOTHELIAL FUNCTION IN RATS WITH EXPERIMENTAL PREECLAMPSIA

L.B. Ivanova, V.I. Karamysheva, V.N. Perfilova, I.N. Turenkov

The use of experimental model showed that GABA-derivatives have protective action on endothelium in preeclampsia. The RGPY-189, RGPY-147 and sulodexide prevent the endothelial dysfunction and promote the vasodilatation.

Key words: preeclampsia, endothelial dysfunction (page 28—30)

PROINFLAMMATORY CYTOKINES IN PATIENTS WITH ENDOMETRIAL CANCER

D.S. Glyakin, А.V. Samoilova, А.G. Gunin

The level of proinflammatory cytokines in endometrial and blood cells in patients with endometrial cancer and in health women were examined. The data were compared with cytokine profile of patients with pelvic chronic inflammatory disease. It has been shown that IL-1, IL-6 and FNO-α level was sufficiently higher in endometrium of patients with endometrial cancer and in women with chronic inflammatory pelvic disease.

Key words: endometrial cancer, cytokines, inflammatory disease (page 35—37)

MODERN METHODS OF UTERINE BLEEDING TREATMENT IN PUBERTY (a review)

L.V. Adamyan, E.A. Bogdanova, T.M. Glybina, E.V. Sibirskaya, G.T. Osipova, D.S. Bakrieva

The pubertal uterine bleeding treatment requires individual approach. The treatment should provide hemostasis, restoration of regular menstrual function, antianemic therapy and recurrence prevention.

Key words: adolescent uterine bleeding, puberty, hormone therapy, tranexamic acid, surgical treatment (page 38—41)

THE ANDROGENIC DERMOPATHY: THE LOCAL PROBLEM OR SYSTEMIC DISORDER?

P.А. Nabieva, T.I. Romantsova, I.V. Kusnetsova

Androgen dermopathy is a clinical manifestation of complex disorders associated with high risk of metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, infertility, and endometrial hyperplasia/cancer. Different specialists take part in the treatment of such patients but complex therapeutic strategy is still absent. The clinical research, combining the modern principles of dermatology, gynecology and endocrinology are necessary to develop therapy for each patient with androgen dermopathy.

Key words: androgen dermopathy, psycho-emotional status, hyperinsulinemia, obesity (page 47—52)

THE BIRTH OF A HEALTHY BOY AFTER THE INTRACYTOPLASMIC INJECTION OF SPERMATOZOA FROM A PATIENT WITH NONMOSAIC KLINEFELTER’S SYNDROME

G.J. Mskhalaya, E.E. Zakharova, M.E. Potapov, G.V. Mikhaylovskaya, D.A. Gusakova, E.A. Efremov, V.V. Zaletova

To our knowledge, this case of birth of a healthy boy from a parent with nonmosaic Klinefelter’s syndrome is the first one in Russia and demonstrates the revolutionary aspects of assisted reproductive technologies and preimplantation genetic diagnosis concerning male infertility.

GNRH ANTAGONISTS IN ASSISTED REPRODUCTION (A REVIEW)

N.V. Barkalina, N.G. Mishieva, A.N. Abubakirov

The review focuses on the current use of GnRH antagonists in assisted reproduction. Existing premature LH surge prevention protocols with GnRH antagonists and their role in routine clinical practice are discussed. In addition, the review highlights modern strategies to improve the pregnancy rate in assisted reproduction.

Key words: GnRH antagonists, premature LH surge, assisted reproduction (page 65—70)

THE EMBRYOTOXICITY OF LABORATORY PLASTICS: EXPERIENCE OF QUALITY CONTROL

E.S. Kalinina, A.V. Martynov, A.L. Lebedeva, Ju.V. Schepkina, V.V. Chestkov

A protocol for embryotoxicity testing of laboratory plastics was developed. Consequent washing of 3 units from each lot of plastics by cleavage medium with following mouse embryo assay gives an optimal sensitivity of method to contaminants. This method was used for testing of 27 lots of plastics for 2 years. It was observed that polypropylene is more embryotoxic (62%) than polystyrol (21%). Method of testing described is effective for plastic embryotoxicity evaluation.

Key words: Media for IVF, embryotoxicity, laboratory plastics, MEA-test (page 74—76)

THE ANEUPLOIDy ANALYSIS OF X, Y, 18, 21 CHROMOSOMES IN SPERMATOZOA NUCLEI OF PATIENTS WITH ASTHENO- AND OLIGOASTHENOZOOSPERMIA

A.M. Feskov, E.S. Zhylkova, I.M. Bezpechnaya, E.V. Blazhko, V.A. Feskov

FISH-diagnosis of X, Y, 18, 21 chromosomes aneuploidies in patients with astheno- and oligoasthenozoospermia was performed. In patients with oligoasthenozoospermia the rate of chromosome anomalies was 1.8 times higher than in the patients with asthenozoospermia (p<0.5). Evaluation is possible only if the semen concentration is not less than 2 million/ml.

Key words: aneuploidies, FISH, oligoasthenozoospremia, asthenozoospermia (page 77—78)

LEEP DURING PREGNANCY: ADVANTAGES AND SAFETY

S. V. Firichenko, I.B. Manukhin, G.N. Minkina, E.A. Fadeeva

The cervical intraepithelial lesion equally often occurs in pregnant and non-pregnant women, but the pregnancy requires the special approach. The aim of present study is to determine the efficacy and safety of LEEP during pregnancy. Thirty one women had LEEP during pregnancy at gestational age 12-24 weeks. There was no intraoperative or late postoperative complications. All patients delivered at term. Preinvasive lesions seldom progress up to invasive carcinoma in pregnancy, therefore the majority of women requires only supervision. However, in case of indications, the LEEP-biopsy can be made because its safety and efficiency.

Key words: cervical neoplasia, LEEP, pregnancy (page 79—83)

THE MENOPAUSAL SYNDROME IN PATIENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS — NEW DATA OF OLD STUDIES

O.R. Grigoryan, E.N. Andreeva

Women with carbohydrate metabolism dysfunction have some unique features of climacteric syndrome in comparison with healthy women. Patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 1 have menopause at 46–48 years. This randomized trial showed that DM is not a contraindication for hormone replacement therapy (HRT), however the latter requires the individual approach.

Key words: HRT, perimenopause, postmenopause, diabetes (page 89—95)
