Scleroatrophic lichen (SL) is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis affecting the genital skin. It can be identified in women of any age and race, but it’s 10 times more common in female patients. Presently recommend the use of super potent topical corticosteroids as first line therapy. However, new treatment options for LS consider the proven efficacy of topical corticosteroids as well as both the risk of cancer and the need for long-term follow-up. The objective of this review is to evaluate efficacy laser therapy like new method of treatment for LS. We analyzed international and domestic publications from 2006 to 2022. PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library and Google Academy databases were used for the search. Systematic reviews, randomized clinical trials, clinical trials and case series were included.
