Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is one of the most prognostically unfavorable human malignant tumors, accounting for approximately 15% of all lung tumors. The first immunotherapeutic combination for the treatment of advanced SCLC after etoposide and platinum drugs was the combination of etoposide + carboplatin (ER) with atezolizumab. The observation of metastatic SCLC with aggressive symptoms is presented. The need for a comprehensive evaluation of patients to make an accurate clinical diagnosis and prescribe optimal first-line drug therapy for a special form of lung cancer, characterized by high biological aggressiveness and unique morphological structure and course, has been demonstrated.
