Left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) obstruction by mechanical valvular prosthesis is a rare but severe complication. The factors leading to LVOT obstruction after mitral valve replacement are known. Various methods of treatment and prevention are described. Case report of successful treatment of this complication is presented. Heart mobilization procedure was based on the G. Guiraudon access.
